Recruiter - Talent Acquisition
The JR Automation recruiting team is looking for a technical talent recruiting specialist to own sourcing, recruiting and interviewing strategies and outreach for select engineering roles and potentially other positions within the company. The roles you will support are critical to the success of our engineering-to-order business strategy.
The successful candidate will be working closely with our engineering and non-engineering leaders to develop and land top talent across the organization. You should be comfortable interacting with business leaders & technical employees to foster and cultivate relationships. Your approach should leverage recruiting depth and industry knowledge beyond the basics. You should be comfortable and effective at delivering optimal results in fast paced, and urgent environments. As a member of our team, you will own engaging passive candidates for our core and pivotal engineering and non-engineering roles. This role is more than simple recruiting, you should be able to talk with candidates to articulate career opportunities that engage passive talent. You must thrive in the hunt, and be focused on networking closely within the industry to identify the right talent and companies to target. You'll cover the basics of recruiting, but more importantly, leverage your technical and business knowledge to develop meaningful recruiting strategies which promote aggressive methods to source, evaluate, and pipeline candidates for JR Automation.
Responsibilities of this role include but not limited to:
Work with Business units, department and hiring leaders in defining and maintaining hiring needs while understanding requirements of a role, the engineering and business challenge, and how it fits into the organization.
Execute on strategic and tactical outreach, referral generation, events, and pipelining efforts and designing custom outreach and meaningful candidate engagement.
You will own candidate relationships all the way to the point of sourcing, screening and in-person interview, offer and onboarding.
Recommend and drive improvements with recruiting and interviewing teams to effectively screen and assess talent.
Work with the Interview team, the Talent Coordinator, and Administrative staff to ensure a remarkable candidate experience.
Research and gather market intelligence, understand, and execute against shifts in the marketplace that present recruiting opportunities for current and future JR Automation opportunities.
Track candidate activity and share with internal stakeholders.
Assist with College recruiting programs with existing and new colleges; maintain solid relationships and communication with the contacts at these settings.
Identify and participate in employment events such as career fairs and community activities to drive a diverse and targeted talent pool of candidates that make JR Automation a great place to work.
5+ years technical recruiting experience, preferably in the robotics and automation technologies
3+ years of research/sourcing skills. Including use of Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques.
BA/BS degree in engineering, business, communications, human resources or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience. (quantify the related work experience) i.e. 4 years
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
2+ years of ATS experience
Experience with national and international recruiting searches
Ability to deliver results with little supervision, and effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and candidates
Decisive and able to push back constructively when appropriate.
Proven good interpersonal skills and ability to network within the industry to identify top performers.
