What will your typical week consist of?
Read and interpret blueprints as well as 3D CAD models.
Machine metallic and nonmetallic parts to specified tolerances.
Set up and operate machine tools such as mills, lathes, grinders, and drill press.
Optimize speeds, feeds, and rate of material removal for various materials and cutting conditions.
Perform necessary preventative maintenance on the assigned machine tool.
Maintain clean and organized work area.

Who you’ll work with:
Mechanical Engineers, all levels of management, Machine Builders, Electricians, project coordinators, and other machinists.
Who you’ll report to:
Lead CNC Machinist
What to Know Coming In:
3-5 years CNC experience preferred.
Fanuc, Hurco, Mazak, or Siemens control experience preferred.
History of CNC machinery.
Familiarity with SurfCAM and/or FeatureCAM preferred.
Proven ability to machine parts to specified print tolerances.
