Machinist Helper

What will your typical week consist of?

  • Distribute raw material or parts.
  • Prepare surfaces for paint.
  • Read basic blueprints and bill of materials.
  • Organize and maintain the saw, weld and deburr areas.
  • Receive material or stock; identify and refer material issues to the Machining Manager.
  • Safely operate a band saw, circular saw, and cutoff saw.
  • Convert decimals to fractional dimensions.
  • Identify different types of steel.
  • Pin stamp and deburr parts.

Lead Machinist

What to Know Coming In:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • 2 years prior industrial experience or 2 years vocational school preferred.
  • Entry-level machine shop skills or desire to learn.
  • Have a desire to become a skilled trade worker.
  • We are an aggressively growing team who works hard to meet our customer’s needs, causing an average of 48-53 work hours per week.
